We don´t want to become a “boss”: Young adults have no interest in responsibility

Germany scores badly in international comparison when it comes to young adults’ management and business owner ambitions: according to a survey, 87% of respondents between 20 and 34 years of age responded negative whether they want to lead a company. Even less favored the need to own a company, namely only 3%.

On the other hand, what is important for the 20 to 34-year-old is: nice colleagues (33%), making a lot of money (27%) and becoming an expert (13%).

What is positive: 3 out of 4 respondents want to receive further education in the next year.19,000 employees and 1,500 HR managers in 25 countries were interviewed for this survey.
